Old Man Bayka (Companions of Christmas)
$10.00
One of the SchweizerCraft "Companions of Christmas" series (#F 31)
Old Man Bayka celebrates Christmas in Liberia by roaming the streets in his mask, begging for charity on behalf of others in need to whom he passes it along. Whereas many other holiday figures give gifts, Bayka reminds folks that giving is the most important part of the holiday, and makes sure that they have the opportunity to do so. Though Bayka has largely refused Santa's offer of new clothes in which to perform his tasks, he does take the saint's last years' boots each year, so that his old feet can keep up with his spirit.
1/4” Baltic Birch, roughly 3.5” tall
This figure can be purchased individually here, or with the 2025 Figures set.
