Pirate Port Playset

At just over three feet tall, our handcrafted wall-mounted Pirate Port Playset is designed to create an imaginative playground for any and all adventures on which one might wish to send a band of pirates (or those that would try to stop them from pillaging the high seas).

The playset has seven levels: The fort towers, the fort parapets, the fort interior, the pirate tavern, the villa balcony, the street, and the treasure cave. It also has a jail cell from which captured pirates can make their escape, a rotating crane with working winch, two moveable cannons, and a treasure chest.

The set comes with 25 wooden figures, each one a historic pirate or pirate hunter from piracy's golden age in the Caribbean, and a small booklet identifying these swashbucklers and some of their exploits. Like the fort (excepting some of the connecting pieces, which are made of poplar, and parts of the crane, which are oak), the figures are made of birch, and average 3.5 inches tall. The SchweizerCraft Pirate Port Playset is less than four inches deep, meaning that those without much floor, shelf, or table space (or those who don't want to leave toys strewn across the floor) can still enjoy a large-scale toy or display piece.

Due to the high cost of durably transferring the paintings to wood and the materials from which the figures and playsets are produced, SchweizerCraft products are generally made to order. Though some parts of our process are automated, each piece still requires work by hand. Because of the time it takes to produce each piece, the volume at which we work, and the demands of family, we ask that you allow us six weeks to deliver your SchweizerCraft figures, sets, and playsets.

Your Pirate Port Playset will arrive fully assembled and ready to mount on the wall, with the exception of the upper left platform from which the Jolly Roger flag flies, that the playset might ship in a reasonably-sized box.

Although we use non-toxic sealant on the pieces, possible preservatives in the wood itself, or the glue that allows the wood to work as ply, could cause upset stomachs were a child to chew through the sealant coat. Because of this, we recommend that SchweizerCraft products not be made available to children who still put toys in their mouth.
